The Board of Directors of The Keith and Judy Swayne Family Foundation is pleased to announce the formation of an Advisory Board. This Advisory Board, composed of three outstanding leaders in the nonprofit sector, will help the Foundation have added insight and understanding of the needs in the communities in which it funds. These individuals will serve as volunteer advisors to the Foundation Directors as a group and the Foundation President individually. The Swayne Foundation believes the newly formed Advisory Board will help it be more strategic, more effective and better connected with those organizations who are serving the needs of the community.
The following individuals have been appointed as the first members of the Keith and Judy Swayne Family Foundation Advisory Board:
Vivian Clecak , CEO of Human Options – Human Options is a comprehensive multi-service agency for abused women and their children in Orange County, California. Vivian is a recognized national expert on domestic violence and brings over thirty years of experience in the field
Rusty Kennedy, Executive Director and CEO of the Orange County Human Relations Commission and Council (OCHRC) – OCHRC promotes understanding among diverse residents and works to eliminate prejudice, intolerance and discrimination through comprehensive programs in the schools and throughout the communities of Orange County, California. Rusty is a well recognized and respected leader in the field both locally, and throughout California. The Orange County Human Relations Commission and Council has been recognized as a model for similar programs throughout the country.
Janis Reischmann, Executive Director of Hau’Oli Mau Loa Foundation in Honolulu, Hawaii – The private foundation Janis leads makes grants principally in Hawaii with a focus on children and environmental issues. Janis has over twenty five years experience in the nonprofit sector and is a highly respected leader in the Hawai’i non-profit community.
